If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. The Service
MaybeCopyThis is an AI-powered tool that takes landing page copy you provide and returns suggested rewrites — including headlines, subheadlines, calls to action, and full-copy variants — designed to improve clarity and conversion. Output is suggestion only; you are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any output.
4. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose.
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
- Attempt to interfere with or compromise the Service's security or integrity, including probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities, or introducing malware.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its output as a standalone product.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying models of the Service.
6. AI-generated output
- You are responsible for the prompts and copy you submit, and for how you use any output. You must verify accuracy and suitability before publishing.
- Output may be inaccurate, inappropriate for your context, or similar to output generated for other users. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other regulated advice.
- You must have the rights necessary to submit the input you provide. Output is provided for your use under your responsibility.
- We reserve the right to remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
- If a rights holder believes content infringes their rights, they may contact us at support@maybecopythis.com with details. Repeat infringers may have access terminated.
7. Intellectual property
MaybeCopyThis and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the website, software, models, documentation, and branding. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.
You retain ownership of the input you submit. As between you and us, you own the output you generate from your input, subject to these Terms and to any third-party rights.
8. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can review the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the period you have already paid for. Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from delays. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or pose a security or fraud risk, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaybeCopyThis will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MaybeCopyThis harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your input, your use of the output, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
